REGISTERING UK PLATED VEHICLE IN FRANCE AFTER BREXIT
BEWARE :
The process has completely changed.
Since the UK left the EEC there are new requests.
In addition to all the administrative formalities, you must now obtain a customs clearance certificate.
And most importantly, you now have to pay VAT (20%) and a 10% tax (plus vat), which represents 32% of the value of your car.
This does not encourage one to register a vehicle with UK PLATES in France.
